Up to 10 Photos, Videos Can Now Be Included in Facebook Carousel Ads
Facebook recently doubled the the number of images and videos that can be included in its carousel ads from 5 to 10. This move raises a couple of questions when it comes to ads and ad performance:
- How will this impact performance?
- Could this possibly lead to information overload and ineffective ads?
- How do we provide the right information to our customers but still keep them interested in finding out more or exploring our website?
Since this change is still rather new all these questions can only be answered by trying and testing the 10 carousel ads out and evaluating performace.
Facebook’s new teens-only app Lifestage turns bios into video profiles
Facebook recently launched an under-21 only application which will ask its users for their happy face, sad face likes, dislikes, best friend and more and rather than asking users to upload written biographies, it will only allow you to enter these things in videos format so others can watch. While there is no data on how many people have signed up as yet or how the target market even feels about this app:
- Why is this important to businesses, if at all?
- Is this worth looking into and keeping up with as a business considering that this app will only be catering to such a young market?

New Data Shows Instagram Stories is Not Slowing Snapchat Use – Yet
New data has shown that there has not been as dramatic a drop in Snapchat use as many had anticipated after the introduction of Instagram Stories. Some argue that Snapchat will eventually start to see a fall in users though as it has only been two weeks since the introduction of Instagram stories while some say they will stick to Snapchat no matter what.
